Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is clinically diagnosed neuropsychiatric condition that is based on the persistence of impairing symptoms following the experiencing or witnessing of life-threatening events such as military combat, natural disasters, terrorist incidents, serious accidents, or physical or sexual assault in adulthood or childhood.
Flashbacks—reliving the traumatic event, including physical symptoms such as a racing heart or sweating
Reoccurring memories or dreams related to the event
